Lord God, winter is not far off. Days of cold and waiting lie ahead. So please go before me and lead me forward with a glad heart. Let me begin today. Lord, by lifting up my soul to you to be made glad, not by my circumstances, but by my relationship with you, and just by the fact that you have made me and you love me
