The mighty one, God the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.

Psalm 50:1

Almighty God, when you speak, I listen. Why wouldn’t I? You are the creator of human life, and I know you are right about how should live. So Keep speaking to me through the Scriptures. Keep nudging me with your Spirit. Bring to my mind those matters you want me to pay attention to. Help me pull away from the TV, the Internet, the cellphone, and the video games, and let me set my focus on you.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without Him not one thing came into being.
